Chasing Perfection

We were always taught to look towards the future as if it is planned for us already,

As if it is all planned out, and is bound to happen as it wills.

It’s okay to fail, It’s okay to be less than.

No one can plan for it.

Perfection in life never ensures a perfect future, that unpredictability is a profound part of it.

It defies humans’ basic way of thinking: a seemingly basic, linear route meant to reward the common good.

Some rebels stray away from that seemingly set path and are promoted;

Committed, those people will continuously push towards their own future as an effort to control the uncontrollable.

But ultimately all will be met with the same fate as those who did not strive ahead

Those striving in certain areas, in others will fail – just as everyone else.

You can never reach your future, It is constantly moving away at the same pace you run towards it.

The future will always equivocate, but we will never reach it until we do.

The only thing for constant? It’s fair to everyone, and in a certain way, all will meet their future.
