Seniors at Columbus gather once again not only to receive their diplomas but also to enjoy one last meal, not as friends but as brothers.

Every year, as tradition, a couple of days after graduation, the senior class returns to Columbus for a barbecue celebrating their first major accomplishment.
The BBQ features gifts for the seniors, memories to relive with teachers and delicious food.
Seniors arrived at Columbus at 11 a.m., where they first received their yearbooks, distributed on the Brother Kevin Basketball Court. Next, they picked up their gifts and certificates, which included an alumni flag and other items.
"I was surprised at the gifts we received," said senior Brandon Pineyro. "It was a cool way to end off the year, for sure."
Finally, the seniors picked up their barbecue food in the L Building dining hall, where they had a variety of options ranging from pan con lechón to ice cream.
"This was super fun, and it was nice seeing my senior class together one last time," said senior Lucas Gonzalez.
This event was not just another Columbus event; it's a statement that we really are a brotherhood for good.
