I, John Allen, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath:To Mrs. Taylor, future students who actually read their emails, join Environmental Club, and stay long enough after school to wash your test tubes. To Brother Herb, a self-cleaning hot tub and an upgraded set of even cooler accessories to match his already elite arsenal of tools.To Brother Tom, a new generation of Marist Youth leaders who continue to build an incredible community, along with an iPhone, a permanent mute button for the PA system in his office, and chairs replaced with therapist-style chaise longues .To Mr. Pelegrín, a permanent solution for dealing with our collective stupidity.To Mrs. Rodriguez, an endless supply of holiday breakfasts and deep psychological conversations that somehow always start seriously and end with laughter. To Mr. O’Brien, unlimited access to every WWII film ever made, plus a room full of students who will actually watch all of them.To Mr. Linfors, a teleportation device or hoverboard to get across Columbus effortlessly, along with a kicker who can hit touchbacks every time he’s asked. And finally, to Mr. Pugh and Mr. Kruczek, the two big dawgs on campus, my sincere thanks for your continued, unbridled support of your students every single day. Your impact is felt more than you know.

I, Sean Alvarez, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: to Mrs. Frieder, my thanks for always making sure I stayed on top of my work and never fell behind; to Mr. Berch, a class full of students who actually get all their work done; to Mr. Santa Maria, an endless amount of jokes and funny moments for always making class enjoyable; to Mr. Corazon, my appreciation for all the business knowledge and real-life lessons he shared with us; and to Mr. De Tuya, my gratitude for helping shape me into the person I am today and giving me the confidence to speak up and believe in myself. Thank you all for making my time at CCHS memorable and for everything you’ve taught me along the way.

I, Juan Diego Alvarez, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: to Ms. Taylor GMO apples, non-biodegradable plastic water bottles, and fossil fuels; to Mr. Crossman, a green light, the red scare, and all three of the chipmunks; to Mr. Ortega, all my missed homework from the last 2 years, and the last 70 of the year; and to Brother Al, my senior pin, every canvas you donated to me back with a painting, and a small statue of Mother Teresa.

I, Esteban Armas, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: to Mr. Ferguson my collection of Monster Energy Drink caps; to Mr. Pelegrin a daily reminder to do the Wordle; to Mr. Ciocca, a classroom full of students who will pay attention to his jokes; and lastly to Ms. Taylor, the picture of the first bench in Columbus to be made with recycled bottles and plastic.

I, Mario Artecona, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: to Ms. Rodriguez my awesomeness. I trust her, with full faith and all my mind has to offer, the responsibility of bearing my awesomeness. She has proven more than capable of handling it regardless of how much of a responsibility it may be. I wish her well…

I, Lucca Balli, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: to Mr. Moro, a megaphone so you can better shout “F!!”; to Mrs. Mallafre, a lifetime warranty on cowbells; to Mr. Kumer, a trophy to remind you that you would win 21 to 0 in a basketball game against Evan; to Mr. Baez, meditation candles, so that you may be as calm and as patient with others as you were with me; to Mr. Crossman, a miniature figure of Glen Powell and a RAM truck; to Dr. Lee, a basket of strudels and pretzels; to Mr. Alegret and Mrs. Acevedo, classes that actually do their Khan Academy and MyMathLab; to Mr. Gomez, an upcoming horror movie that actually has good reviews; to Mrs. Gonzalez and Dr. Folch, students who will actually speak Spanish in class; to Mr. Pelegrin, peanut butter (if you know, you know); to Mr. Santa-Maria, more space for your physical media collection; to Mr. O’Brien, a lifetime supply of incense; and finally, to MAS Staff, my eternal thanks for being incredibly patient with me.

I, Jake Banens, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: to Mr. Ortega, a classroom full of bright mathematic minds; to Mr. Pelegrin, a strengthened mind to deal with the insanity of students; to Mr. Levy, a chance for someone else to give good voice impressions while saying the lesson objective; to the MAS team, a thank you for everything you have done for me and my fellow students for our future; to those, teachers and faculty, that weren’t mentioned, another thanks for giving us the greatest high school experience one couldn’t possibly dream of. ADELANTE!!!

I, Michael Barinaga, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: my entire life savings (including my Roth IRA) to Mr. Berch.

I, Samuel Barreiro, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: I would like to start off by thanking all the teachers who have made these four years at Columbus the best ever! Thank you for pushing me, holding me accountable, and teaching me how to become a man. Whether it was classwork or a regular conversation amongst each other, those were some of my best memories. As for the rest of the faculty and administration, I’m happy to be a part of a community where everyone does their part in. There as not a single time I can think of that you all weren’t there when I needed something. I am forever grateful for Columbus and I am excited to see what the future holds for Christopher Columbus High School.

I, Lucas Batalla, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: to Mr. Busatto, a jump shot that actually goes in and the ability to win a one-on-one against a student; to Mr. Delgado, a lifetime supply of suncereen to protect the most legendary bald head in the building; and to Ms. Rodriguez, an even bigger wardrobe of black outfits to match her unmatched aura, along with a warning sign for future students so they know just how intimidating she really is. Thank you all for making my time at Columbus something I will never forget.

I, Christopher Beceiro, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: to Mr Aviles, the Dolphins winning a playoff game; to Mr Baez, more crazy stories, and life advice for your sophmores; to Mr Ciocca, 5 more minutes on every quiz for every student from now on; to Mr. Ortega and Mr Aviles, for them to just "tow the car" instead of making an annoucement 5 times per day; to Mr Hermida, another Close-Up trip, THANK YOU BRO; to Mr Bowman, enjoying another "fake" school year.  And to all of the teachers who had the pleasure of teaching my classmates and me, a genuine thank you for all that you do.

I, Brian Bech, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: to Mrs. Essig, thank you for being the best teacher ever. I had fun all 3 years in your class and you're my favorite teacher.

I, Carlos Gaston Blanch, being of sound mind and body, hereby bequeath: to Ms. McGrath, 1 Connor Connor Corndog (you will not know when); to Mr. Pino, a petition to actually cover Panthers games on CCNN; to Ms. Cofresi, a list of all the references in The Matrix and a group project where everybody did equal work; to Mr. Kumer, a 21-0 win in your next basketball 1v1; to Mr. Levy, a future student who can and will perform a Gru impression; to Mr. Pelegrin, the winnings from betting the under on Laertes and Hamlet’s duel; to Ms. Medico, One Escherian Stairwell and a summer trip to Italy; to Mr. Hermida, The “Mos Def and Talib Kweli are Black Star” vinyl record and the 1/1 flag; to Ms Brinson, a white lab coat for when you become Dr. Brinson; Ms. D Rodriguez, a classroom full of Daschunds for a well-deserved change of pace; to Dr. Lee, The Ms. Clutch Award, the original (and only) copy of the Steps of the Chapel Roan, a class that doesn’t confuse jail with prison, and an immeasurable amount of care and gratitude for all the support you’ve given me throughout my time at Columbus.

I, Obed Blas, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: Thank you for everything you’ve done for us. From the lessons in class to the life advice in passing moments, you’ve helped shape who we are becoming. Even the small things jokes, reminders, and everyday conversations made a bigger impact than you probably realize. I’ll carry those memories and lessons with me beyond CCHS. Wishing you all the best, and thank you for being part of my journey.

I, David Bosch, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: to Mr. Frazier for always letting me be a part of class; to Mr. McKeon for all the funny stories you have told us; and to Mr. Levy for being a part of my encounter. Thank you for the memories I have made in Columbus, which I will never forget.

I, Adriano Boutros, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: to Mr Busatto, I leave you unlimited Post-it notes so you can remember to do attendance and a golf sim to put in the classroom; to Mr Delgado, unlimited dude wipes and a head massager to calm his nice shiny bald head. And to both of them a key pad for the equipment room that can never be guessed or spread; to Ms. D, the best of luck in her life and with her work in the Astros and all 5s for her AP kids; and to Coach Joe, I hope you can go on and grow into a bigger position at this school and continue helping kids workout even if they arent playing ball in college.

I, Fernando Brambilla, being of sound mind (most days) and body, do hereby bequeath: to Mr. Pelegrin, an endless supply of students who actually read all of A Rose for Emily and come prepared with real annotations instead of “I kinda skimmed it”; to Ms. Taylor, an AP Environmental class where every student finally understands that recycling is not optional and can actually explain sustainability without looking at their notes; to Ms. Acevedo, calculators that never die mid-test and students who remember how to do algebra without saying “wait, what did we do yesterday?” every single class; to Mr. Ciocca, an economics class where supply and demand graphs are drawn perfectly the first time, and students who finally realize money doesn’t just “appear,” thanks to opportunity cost; and to all of these teachers, the patience of saints and a classroom full of students who turn in assignments on time. Thank you for making these years something I’ll never forget—even the tests.

I, Sebastian Brana, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: To Mr. Santa Maria, more ways to keep his lessons connected to what’s going on in the world today, and to keep making class enjoyable for his students. Thank you for helping us stay engaged, especially toward the end of our senior year, and for making class something we actually looked forward to.

I, Oscar Braynon, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: to all my teachers from my freshman year up to my senior year who have helped me grow in different areas, whether it be in public speaking or even my understanding of subjects. To my counselors, who have guided me through the college process. To my classmates who really made Columbus feel like home. Thank you and I wish great success upon all of you guys.

I, Alex Cabrera, being of sound mind and body, hereby bequeath: to Brother Herb my team manager spot on the volleyball team and every other teacher I have had that shaped me to be the man I am today I leave them memories of me.

I, Anthony Cardona, being of sound mind and body do hereby bequeath: To Mrs. Noy, thank you for the fun class and for the competitive times I got to have with comparing test grades with my friend; to Mr. G, thank you for always being a super king guy and for giving me a breather of a last period my Freshman year; to Mr. Frazier, I am going to the University of Charles Frazier 🙏, also all the jokes and names like cajagoogoo and love schack were hilarious and I will definitely miss them; to Mr. Machado, thank you for everything you have done for me and for accepting my grandma’s statue of Our Lady of Charity; to Mr. Andres Gonzalez, thank you for giving me the best homeroom environment and fun events my junior year; to Mrs. Leonard, thank you for giving us your knowledge as google ++; to Mr. Ulloa, thank you for letting me and my friends just ramble on and on in the back of the class while doing work and even you joining our fun and laughter every once in a while; to Mr. Ferguson, thank you for the chillest class ever and telling us about how you are best friends with Oscar Isaac;  to Mr. Benitez, thank you for the crazy stories; to Ms. D, thank you for always being supportive and always keeping it real; to Mr. Pelegrin, thank you for the constant laughter of all the crazy stuff being said; to Mr. Baez, thank you for being a super cool guy and giving me a class to catch up on all the work I had to finish, also one day the Giants will be a good franchise; to Mr. Bowman, thank you for your knowledge on sports and for allowing me to talk more about fantasy than listening to the lecture; and to Mr. Alegret, thank you for the long journey of dealing with our class. I, Michael Castillo, being of sound mind and body do hereby bequeath: A sign for Ms. Brinson that says “get on your P’s and Q’s,” a class next year filled with good “motha brothas”; for Mr. Moscoso, 1,000,000 Danilos; for Mr. Ciocca, a ticket to see Conor McGregor fight for Mr. Fernandez, and last but certainly not least, a state championship win in Mock Trial for Dr. Lee, thank you for everything, Doc.

I, Giovanni Chavez, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: I want to say thank you for shaping me into the person I am today and allowing me to grow and lead me to the right direction always.

I, Oscar Cruz, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: I want to give thanks to all the moderators of the eSports club. Without them, I likely would've never joined any team or club. I want to thank all of the teachers that I have had over the 4 years that I have been here.

I, Mario Domanti, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: to Mr. Moro for always being there for his students, no matter what is going on, with a smile on his face, proud to help us become young aspiring men in the future; and to Mr. Echevarria for making gothic literature funny and keeping us motivated no matter how late into senior year we are.

I, Nicholas Dovales, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: to Mr. Omar Delgado, telling us to do one thing after another, motivating us, and making us work all with steam coming off his bald head. to Mr. J-Boogie Busatto, for balling out in class, on the court, underwater and in the Everglades. I, Adam Dunand, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: to all the teachers in this amazing school that made me become the man I am as I leave this chapter. You guys have been beyond amazing and this place will always be beyond amazing. It's sad to leave, but I am happy to grow.

I, Noah Eastep, being of sound mind and body do hereby bequeath: to Mrs. Mallafre, thanks for scaring me into the rest of my high school year; to Mrs. Cofresi, Jesus is proud of me for passing your class; to Mr. Crossman, take care of my brother next year; to Mr. Aviles, 11; to Mrs. Taylor, I actually tried my best on the Biozones; to Mr. Pelegrin, Periodes; to Mr. Hermida, I passed; to Mr. Levy, I’ll pass an amendment to allow Gunnar Dennis to give me his counter strike 2 skins; to Mr. Barbeite, H-lldivers never die, see you on the front soon; and to Mr. Kumer, I still mention the ninja turtles for the renaissance. Thank you to all these teachers and those not mentioned for making my Columbus experience something to remember for the rest of my life.

I, Marcelo Fredes, being sound of mind and body, do hereby bequeath: To Mr. O'Brien for my iPad addiction, To Mr. Landera always reminding me to button my top button, To Mr. Croke and all his many grass hoppers, To Mr. Sanchez and always telling me to stop talking, To Mr. Casals and mini golf and cheers to lil baby, To Mr. Berch and his bad chess skills, To Mrs. Folch screaming FREDES, To Ms. D and her scary smile, to Mr. Gonzalez and his beginning period prayers, Mr. Ciocca and his dad jokes, Mr. Diaz to teaching me how to tie a tie and for me making it to the end, and thanks to Mr. Linfors and Mr. Trujillo for always believing in me and not kicking me out of school cheers to boxes, and for everyone else in the administration thank you for the beautiful memories that will continue with me for the rest of my life.

To my coaches, my effort and the lessons I learned about hard work and teamwork. To my teammates, all the memories, laughs, and good times we shared. Stay focused and keep working together. To the underclassmen, don’t waste your time. Work hard and enjoy every moment. And to Columbus High School, thank you for everything and for helping shape who I am today.

I, Thomas Fuentes, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: to Mr. Berch, a beginner’s chess guide labeled “Step 1: Don’t lose your queen”; a magnifying glass so he can actually see the board; and a rematch card he can use when he finally figures things out. I also leave him a scoreboard permanently stuck at 0 wins, just to keep things accurate. Lastly, I gift Mr. Berch a small bit of confidence, because he’s gonna need it every time he sits down to play.

I, Nicholas Garcia, being of sound mind and body, do hereby bequeath: To my teachers, my last-minute questions five minutes before deadlines. To the pádel courts, the competitive spirit and all the hours spent chasing one more good shot. To my classmates, the stress before exams and the laughs that somehow made it all worth it. To Columbus, the memories, brotherhood, and gratitude for shaping who I’ve become. To my future seniors, never take the little moments for granted — they become the ones you remember most. And to CCHS, my sincere thank you.

I, Zackary Gonzalez, being of sound mind and body do hereby bequeath: To Mr. Ortega, I give an unopened Chewbacca action figure that's been sitting on my desk for a year. To Mr. Kumer, rugs that have been cleaned in the last decade. To Mr. Chica, a son and a colony of bats in your roof. To Mr. Baez, I humbly offer an accurate DNA test. To Mr. Hermida, more students with cool last names like Zesti that we can scream every time you take attendance or nicknames like Golden Q-tip. To the juniors, I leave the stress of figuring out your future and realizing nobody really has it all figured out- don't let the thirsty Thursdays get in the middle of studying for your exams. To my friends, I leave the memories, the late nights, and everything we probably shouldn’t have done but did anyway. To my teachers, I leave my late assignments and last-minute effort that somehow worked out. To the Real Estate Club, I leave the title of president, along with the responsibility to keep building it. Don’t let it fall off, actually turn it into something real. To Ms. D, I take my interest in psychology with me, but I leave my dislike towards those frq’s that would at times scramble my brain. Thanks for being someone i can talk to about anything, even with me not being the best when it came to completing your assignments. To anyone trying to start something, I leave this: I started an event hospitality business freshman year and built it up to a steady income a month by senior year.
