One of the most popular Animangas in recent history, Jujutsu Kaisen, returns for a sophomore season. With incredible animation and many beloved characters, it has taken the world by storm.
While Season 1 emphasizes the journey of Yuji Itadori, post his consumption of a cursed finger, Season 2 takes a different approach.
In Season 2, we see an emphasis on the story of Saturo Gojo, teacher of Yuji Itadori and one of the most popular characters in all of Animanga, and his best friend, Suguro Geto.
The story revolves around their mission while attending Jujutsu Tech, the school Yuji Itadori currently attends, that would eventually convert Gojo and Geto from friends to combatants. The story also covers critical points in the character development of Yuji Itadori.

Highlights:
Overall, the season was incredible. Stunning animation and beautifully choreographed fight scenes encapsulate the intricacy of domain expansion and the various forms present within the world of Jujustsu Kaisen. Panels such as the one below encapsulate the beauty of not just the animation but the overall story as well.
Moreover, the insight into Gojo's past, one of the most mysterious characters in all of Animanga, is truly incredible. His dynamic with his once best friend, Geto, and the evolution of their relationship is explored extremely well.
The relationship between Yuji Itadori and his cursed spirit, Sukuna, is also expanded upon. Not only this, but we get an insight into the potential of Megumi Fushiguro, a friend and classmate of Yuji.
However, beware of the tragic elements present within this season of Jujust Kaisen. Beloved characters are put through immensely tragic fates and evil truly seeps into the hearts of those who were formerly thought to be good.
Recommendation
I would most definitely check out season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen. If you are a fan of intense fight scenes paired with a bit of otherworldly abilities, this is most definitely for you. Also, if you are a fan of incredible animation and intricate characters, this is certainly for you.
Overall, I rate this season highly and I am immensely excited for the future of Jujustu Kaisen.
