I wanted to capture a simple, psychedelic carelessness in 99% There. For the piece, I mixed the media of ink pens for the portrait of the monkey, and used acrylic markers for a solid colored background. The monkey captures a sense of glee and personal selfishness, as if at that moment he only cared about his own wellbeing.
